Karanja Terminal & Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (KTPL) is a Multipurpose Terminal at Karanja creek of Raigad District in Maharashtra which is the “gateway” to the financial heart of India. Karanja is strategically located with a naturally protected ambience, which supports its capability to make more offerings as a service provider. Being geographically situated at the mouth of Karanja creek, it has natural protection from all sides, ensuring consistent all-weather working condition throughout the year unlike the eight-month cycle usually followed (due to monsoon hazards), making it an all-weather terminal.

Esquire has undertaken complete logistical arrangements to handle coal and other bulk cargoes at KTPL jetty point and thereafter storage/loading trucks for final dispatch out of the port premises.
Esquire services at KTPL include on board stevedoring, barging, on shore stevedoring, internal transportation from jetty to storage plot, loading onto trucks for dispatch and CHA services basis proper documents provided by Esquire.
With a storage area of 10 to 12 acres, Karanja terminal is a lighterage port, where vessels are initially anchored at BFL Anchorage about 13 nautical miles from Karanja Port. After lighterage by barges the vessels are brought to Mumbai inner anchorage and unloaded at anchorage, which is about 6 nautical miles from the Karanja Terminal.
